IT Sector at Inflection point, the biggies holds from roots - A Story

How IT Sector grown from roots?

What is the IT sector and how it is growing day by day from decades???? A question mark in my mind when my parents and relatives suggested me to choose IT job as my career.

          As a woman, I want to know that "what made that an IT sector became recognized all over the World" in a short period of time. I researched and after reading many books, surfing in online, I came to know that the Information technology is a very large scale industry which is a key role in Worlds economy. Each statement shows that the growth of IT sector increase during increasing from the last 35 years and it took decades to reach that interest in India.

          SEEPZ in Mumbai is the India first software zone which started in 1973. Since then, Information Technology in India has grown and acquired Indian as a brand name in the IT sector in the Global Scenario. After knowing about the history of Information Technology through Surfing I came to know what is booming or trending and how IT sector grown from roots.

Get Trained and Certified

The software is one of the main elements in the IT sector. This software’s are made with programming languages. All we know that technology is developing day to day from decades. One of the basic programming languages we all know is the C programming language.

C programming language:

          C is a general-purpose language told in 1972 by Dennis M. Ritchie at Bell laboratories to develop the UNIX operating system. C programming language is basic and now become widely used professional language because,

1.       It is simple to learn and it is a structured language.

2.       It produces useful programs and can work in low-level activities.

3.       It can be built in a variety of computer platforms.

Initially, the C language is applied for system development act like programs or code that works as fast as codes written in machine language. After C, C++ was explained by Bjarne Stroustrup in 1985. When Bjarne started work in AT & T Bell Labs, he became the problem of analyzing UNIX Kernel.

Initially, Bjarne added “C with classes” features to C compiler. In 1983, “C with classes” was renamed as C++ (++ is the increment operator in C). In 1985, the first version of the C++ programming language was released. In 1989, C++ 2.0 was published which is an updated variant of the first edition of the C++ language.

One thing to note here is it took a lot of time to develop an updated version of C language than to develop an updated version of C++ language.

Python Programming language:

          Python is a high-level programming language told by Guido Van Russum in 1991 at Centrum wiskunde and Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands as a replacement to ABC language and is capable of creating web applications, video games.

          Python is a scripting language like PHP, Ruby etc. It is practiced for web programmings like the Google app engine, Django, zope etc and desktop applications such as amusements (pygame), Blender 3D.

Java Programming language:

           Java is a general purpose object-oriented programming language. It was developed by James Gosling on May 23, 1995. Initially, Java language was called as Oak. It was primarily designed for a Television, but it was too advanced in the digital industry at that time.

          Gosling invented java using C, C++ style syntax. Sun Microsystems released the first version of Java 1.0 in 1996. Recently, in March 2018, Java 10 was released.

Dot Net Framework:

          Dot net is software part developed by Microsoft in 2002. It is used in all operating systems and stores tools and libraries to develop windows software much simpler and faster. Dot net framework should be installed on all personal computers in order to run any dot net applications. ASP Dot Net is an open source framework used to build dynamic web Pages. Dot net supports various programming languages like C#, VB.Net, C++, F# etc.

Angular js Programming language:

          Angular js is a javascript based web development architecture framework used to create web applications. It was developed and maintained by Google in 2010. Angular js is used to create user interfaces and combine software components.

          Angular js was written in javascript where it only needs HTML, CSS, and javascript. It is easy to get and perfect for developing single webpage applications.

Devops (software development (Dev) and software operations (Ops)):

          Devops is mainly designed with an aim at consolidating software development (Dev) and software operations (Ops). Devops is essentially used to reduce the time to complete work while defending high quality.

                I observed that several programming languages and their updated versions are developed in order to get used to software applications in an easy fashion. Human-made many efforts from changing computer which is of one room size in 1830’s to what we are carrying in our bags as a laptop in an easy way at the present period. I am glad to say that human has achieved more from decades. 

Now, I am happy to share that an IT sector changed our old Indian economy too much extent.....
